Hey there! I'm Dee and I'm here on behalf of two communities. The first is Wizard's Quarter a social game that is opening up TOMORROW. It is set in 2004 and is mostly just a light-hearted game that should be a lot of fun. There are a bunch of popular roles still open, but I am personally in need of a HARRY POTTER, and I'm sure that Hermione wouldn't object to seeing RON WEASLEY around either.

The second community goes by the name of Snitched, and is an AU game set in 2002 where the Death Eaters have been running the show since August 1, 1997. Order Members and Muggleborn are snatched up and put in Azkaban before being placed into slavery, the Order is severly lacking in the resources to fight the Death Eaters properly, and the Trio is still trying to find those pesky horcruxes. We've been open since May and show no sign of slowing down.
We're looking for DEATH EATERS, ORDER MEMBERS, and SLAVES. But we also especially need NEUTRALS who could be persuaded one way or the other by a particular side. In terms of specifics we greatly need KINGSLEY SHACKLEBOLT, MINERVA MCGONAGALL, ANTONIN DOLOHOV, BILL WEASLEY, SEAMUS FINNIGAN(who comes with a backstory), MICHAEL CORNER (backstory as well), AMYCUS CARROW, ARTHUR WEASLEY, and MOLLY WEASLEY! snitched via snitched_mods.

Hello world! I'm cassie, mod over at Baby Bumped, a new game that's set to start December 6th. We have loadddssssss of characters open, including Harry Potter and every single Weasley. We have someone applying as Hermione presently so that should be loads of fun XD.
As far as story lines, we have a few open. My Morag MacDougal (maggiemac) has a young son, Caleb, and it would be great to have her ex-fiancee/Caleb's father in play. He is currently unnamed and his backstory is very open. See Morag's info for more information or the family page at this journal.
Roger Davies would love to have more proffessional Quidditch Players around, as well as some groupies, but that's just Roger. (rogerflies)
Seamus Finnigan wants his best mate, Dean around, and more Gryffindors around. His fiancee, Lavender, would love to see Parvati and Padma around. Seamus also needs some of his band mates at the game too (he is the lead singer and guitarist of the rock band Organized Chaos)
Daphne Greengrass would love having her husban, Adrian Pucey, around. Blaise Zabini needs his long time girlfriend, Dahlia Moon, who is the mother of his daughter. ANY AND ALL SLYTHERINS ARE WELCOME!
Last but not least, Hufflepuffs are completely missing from our game! No game is complete without our badgers!
Baby Bumped is an AU, post war game set in 2003. The war is over and most characters are focusing on their careers or their families. In the midst of personal plots there is a game wide plot: a baby boom. Obviously we will need parents and pregnant characters to represent this, but do not in any way feel forced to do so!

Hey everyone! I'm posting on behalf of a community I joined very recently, pullusaetas. We're set in the Marauders' Era, during their sixth year. Tons of characters are available, but of course I have my own selfish desires.
I play Mary MacDonald: Muggleborn, practically clueless, and too talkative for her own good. These attributes have actually gotten her into trouble in the past- namely with Mulciber. He thought it would be funny to do a bit of Dark Magic on her a few years ago. I'd love to have him around just to get a handle on how Mary acts around those who have made it impossible for her to be completely ignorant of her status in the Wizarding world. (He's listed as a current Death Eater, but that isn't set in stone. I'd actually prefer him to be still at Hogwarts, but that's not at all at my discretion.)
Mary, Daisy, and Lily's final roommate is missing as well. The girls we have so far are already radically different from one another, and I'm sure things could get very interesting with yet another personality thrown into the mix.

Posting for hallowed_ground; a Deathly Hallows game currently in search for a canon Ron Weasley to accompany Harry and Hermione as the three of them search and destroy! The 2/3 of Trio we have now are excellent writers and nice fun players, so I would really adore for them to have a big-hearted, slightly gormless, splinchable, irritable, wonderfully loyal best mate. Molly, Arthur, and Percy are also still available, and our truly lovely Fleur deserves a Bill Weasley more than I can express; so if a Weasley has ever spent (or would like to spend!) time in your brain, please consider giving them a home with us, we would love to have them!
We're also on the lookout for Order Members, Death Eaters, graduates, students, and many others. The available characters list can be found here, the current castlist here, and a post in our watchers community where people post for characters they'd like to see cast is here. Hallowed Ground is a friendly laid back game that opened on 1 November. We follow the main points of canon that we know from Deathly Hallows and expand upon them to create a richer, broader picture of what the wizarding world was like while the Trio was busy saving it! Hi I am Fi, I am here on the behalf of A New Initium a AU game that is cannon all the way up till after the war ended in Deathly Hallows. Set in 1998 it is now October; the wizarding world slowly starting to regroup from the war and life is back to normal. The ministry, and new headmistress, Minerva McGonagal, came up with a plan. They offered an 8th year to those who should have finished so they could get a proper year of schooling and complete everything they needed to. They would have extra liberties as they would be of age, but everyone would be in school nonetheless.
The ministry is getting organize as well, but things are slightly different. To find out more feel free to look here.
The players are 18+ in the game with no OOC drama, they are friendly, and very relaxed. We are looking for someone who likes to play for fun and who will actually try to play, not sit on their hands for a few days and then leave claiming the game is not for them when they didn’t even bother to try in the first place. We do welcome OC characters, but request you pick up a cannon to balance it out.

Bavardage via bmods! Opened up some new characters this past week and would LOVE to see any and all males. Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, Slytherins the most! All three years needed, but right now we have a really unfortunate boy/girl ratio and we'd like to see it even out a little bit more.
Right now, we'd really like to get a Ron Weasley and Harry Potter. On top of that, the other Hufflepuffs are looking for their mates! Ernie MacMillan, Zacharias Smith and lastly, Daphne,Theodore, Pansy and Draco would like to see Blaise Zabini and maybe even Crabbe and Goyle. We're really desperate for guys and had to put a cap on all female applications until we get things evened out somewhat.
The game is a lot of fun, we're very character oriented and it's a very social, un-cliquey game. There's a lot of character development going on, which doesn't happen all the time anymore. Sixth year trio-era game with a twist on it. While it is canon, we did put an au twist into the social aspect of it, sending around a gossip paper talking about the on goings of the lives of the students, even letting out things that people don't need to know.
We'd love to see everyone come out soon, we need all sorts of guys for all four houses and all three years. Hope to see everyone soon!

It's been a long time since I've pimped for euphorialane. I've gone back to JUST moderating that game, which is much goodness, because uh, moderating TWO HUGE games was really draining me. I wasn't doing ANY logging or RPing, and I couldn't even find the energy to bother updating my characters. So now that I'm back and just maintaining the ONE game, I'm here to pimp!
Firstly, we're in desperate need of Slytherins. I know that Terence Higgs, Georgina Bloxam, Miles Bletchley, Melinda Bobbin, Thomas Vaisey, Daphne Greengrass, Theodore Nott, Graham Pritchard, Adrian Pucey, and Ian Urquhart could use some loving. We're particularly in need of: PANSY PARKINSON, Draco Malfoy, Astoria Greengrass, Warrington, Montague, Millicent Bulstrode, Blaise Zabini, and Malcolm Baddock. There's room for you at the inn!
Secondly, I want to pick up my Fleur again, and I have a potential Gabrielle, so what I would need is a good Bill Weasley. The last PB was James D'arcy and I'd make icons of him with red hair. There's a serious lack of awesome Bill PBs out there. My Fleur isn't an ice queen with him, not in the least. And not to the people she loves either. And I'd be playing her as having all of her children, so no pregnancy plot. She's also something of an adventurist, considering she wanted to be in the Tri Wizard Tournament, I thought it gave her a bit of an edge.
Thirdly, we could definitely use more Ravenclaw boys. Our Stephen Cornfoot is LONELY without some males around. Terry Boot, Kevin Entwhistle, Anthony Goldstein, Michael Corner... you're all wanted! We could also use a Morag Macdougal (and you wouldn't have to keep the old one's history either).
Fourthly, we could use some more WEASLEYS. We've got Ron, George, Ginny, but we definitely need a Percy, Charlie, Bill (see the second point!) and potentially a Fred.
Fourthly, we could use some people who work in the PUBLISHING industry. We have a Seamus Finnigan who would love to have an agent there!
Aaaaaand finally, LUNA LOVEGOOD. PLEASE? WE LOVE YOU. And YOU are Roger Davies' boggart, if that's not incentive enough!

OHAI. I'm Zee, and I play Lucius Malfoy (ofbadfaith) and Leon Thomas (jokey) at the fabulous MWPP game blurred_lines via blurred_mods. Lucius is currently chilling in Azkaban after being arrested on Halloween, and Leon is the biological father of Dean Thomas, currently in training as a hitwizard with a girlfriend who has no clue about the wizarding world. The game itself is set in 1979, with an AU premise in that Voldemort and the Death Eaters gain power much faster than in canon, culminating in the murder of the Longbottoms instead of the Potters in 1980, and no boy-who-lived.
We are a dark, active, plot-heavy game, with an amazing and dedicated player base. All characters are sorted into one of 5 categories (DEs & Supporters, Ministry, Order & Supporters, Media, Dark Army) to maximise plot for all. Applications are going invite-only as of Dec 16, so if you've ever considered apping the game, now is the time to do it. I come with some requests from the playerbase in general -
Hitwizards: We have an amazing bunch of aurors, but practically no hitwizards! There's a bunch of names on the castlist to choose from, and lots of plotty potential.
Amycus Carrow: We have a wonderful Alecto, and he would have plot straight off the bat as he's been established as a leak, passing information to the DEs from inside the DMLE.
Augustus Rookwood: Another Ministry leak!
[Stewart] Greengrass: Daphne needs to be born, and he has a sister in play.
[Patrick Vance]: Emmeline's DE brother
[Atticus] Avery: With two children in play and plenty of first-generation DEs to interact with
Igor Karkaroff: I'd love for Lucius to plot and scheme with him!
Alastor Moody: To give the Order some sort of, well, order
Arthur Weasley: Need I say more?
Broderick Bode: To chill with Aloysius Croaker in the Department of Mysteries
Julian Proudfoot: Brother of auror Kate Proudfoot
Dark Army: Muggle werewolves, vampires and hags, to fight in Voldemort's dark army lead by Fenrir Greyback. These characters have less activity requirements than wizards, so they make great second characters, and there's loads of chances to get involved.
To get in contact with the relevant players connected to these characters, leave a comment on the hold page and they'll certainly be in touch! But of course, all characters are welcome and the full cast list is here. We're very flexible about characters not on the list being apped too, just leave a comment!
While Blurred Lines is an established game, it's easy to get caught up due to monthly summaries and really helpful players. We're close but not cliqueish, and 24 hour AIM chat makes it really easy to get to know everyone, get some good plotting done, and generally have a good time. I promise you won't regret apping, a lot of people (myself included) adore this game and we'd love to see some new players and characters!

Hi! I'm Emily, and I play Luna Lovegood and Meaghan McCormack over at the LJ game Euterpe's Corner, a postwarts game set in 2002 or 2003, I can never remember which. EC is an apartment building in Diagon Alley that houses... well, a variety of people! We've got bartenders, journalists, businesspeople, Ministry workers, people in entertainment and a smattering of Quidditch players.
What we need is... well, older people. The cutoff age for characters is thirty, and we've got a few characters - Meaghan, her roommate and fellow Quidditch player Wilda Griffiths, and Veronica Smethley, the landlady - who are getting up there. A few more would be amazing, especially if they were men. The Wilda player and I would also LOVE, honour and ADORE an Oliver Wood, particularly one who does not mind being referred to as Olivia. Or at least not too much.
We've been going strong since July, and we're fun and welcoming... so don't let the fact that it's LJ discourage you. Luna will ply you with steak and ice cream if you join! Meaghan makes no promises, but she's likely to think you're pretty brilliant. I will give you mental hugs, and warm and fuzzy shall be the cockles of your delightful heart.

Hi. I'm AM, and I'm looking for a home. I used to be around on GJ but got lost in RL..then got more lost in the big move from GJ to here that apparently happened. I'm found now, though! And am looking for a place for my muse, Tonks, to play?
She's fun-loving, pink, and fiercely loyal as a Tonks should be. I'm fun-loving too, enjoy writing, and am friendly as an AM should be! I'm open to anything, game-wise (AU, Canon, Marauder's Era as kid!Tonks or 80's as teen!Tonks) and hope to find a home soon! I'm also super bad at these into thingers, so please feel free to ask questions of me by commenting below.

Hullo.
I'm Jennee, and I've been out of the Harry Potter loop for a few months though and looking to possibly get back into it.
I have 8 years of RPing experience, 5 years of that on LJ/GJ/IJ, and about all of that Harry Potter. I've done Founder-Era, 1920's, Riddle-Era, Marauder-Era, Trio-Era, Postwarts and Next Generation, so about anything that's been thought of. Slytherin and Ravenclaw are my two favorite houses and usually I like playing males. And I got A's in my college English classes, so I know my grammar and the like pretty well.
What I'm looking for:
1) Most places are going to have their slight dramas, but I'd prefer some place that doesn't have people that are out looking to cause trouble. I'm there to have fun and believe strongly in the G-part of RPG. If it's not fun then it's not a game.
2) Quality RPers. If I write a long reply to something, I'd like more than just a line or two in return. That gets boring after a while. This also includes spell checking before you post.
3) New-ish is probably better, but I'm quite willing to look at established if someone can give me a run-by of things I should know.
Otherwise I'm looking to play about anyone. Characters with possible plot ideas attached though get you bonus points. So hit me with your best shot.

What I want in a game: I'm looking for a game that is welcoming, of course, and kind of in the middle in regards to size. I'm up to playing Tonks in any time period (Trio, 80's, kid!Tonks in Marauder)! Though I personally love Remus/Tonks, I'm very big on talking it with the Remus player and letting things develop. Half the fun of roleplaying is development. :)
What I don't want in a game: Inactivity, cliques, most of the things that all of us don't want.

'Sup? I'm Claudia and I've been RPing for too long now. I've played in all three generations, different houses, different characters, and right now what I'm looking for is an active game, preferably during Hogwarts, that's welcoming of new players. Plot is very nice, but if the plot is mostly character driven that's fine, too. Honestly I haven't felt very excited about a game in quite some time and I'm looking for something that catches my eye. Once you have me, you'll have my full ~devotion.
As for specifics, right now I feel like playing a seventh year Ravenclaw male or maybe a 6th year Gryffindor male. If your game is in need of any male characters, feel free to link, because I'm not feeling particularly picky right now. If you're in need of a certain type of character or someone for a certain storyline, I'd be open to that as well.

Hi there! I play Bill and Tonks at mm_rpg via theministrymods, and we're a small game, but it would be great to get a few more players involved! We're just about to start, and don't let the idea of politics scare you off. It's very much about the character interaction and the gossip and intrigue of the election, rather than the platforms and positions of the candidates. It's sort of like a social Ministry game, but with an explicit purpose - electing the new Minister and dealing with the aftermath.
For Bill, selfishly I'd really like to see his wife, Fleur Delacour in play (all three of their children have been born, so they have their hands full), as well as other Weasleys! Everyone except Ginny is available right now, but I'd love for Bill to have Charlie to interact with, and the trio needs a Ron Weasley as well.
Also, some friends for Bill would be nice, particularly in the form of other Order Members.

Hi! I'm Emily, the mod for a new game called allyouneed. allyouneed is a game based on...well, the buddy system. You remember when you were like six or seven and you had to find a partner and hold their hand or something so you wouldn't get lost? Yeah, that!
The partner things serves the "never be without someone to plot with" desire that we all have. Multiple partners, while bad in relationships, is wonderful for our game. But I have specific character requests for you.
Firstly, for my girl Romilda Vane (vaneity). Romilda is an aspiring...trashy romance novel author, and a columnist for Witch Weekly. She writes really silly advice columns and does tabloid reporting on the side. I'm looking for her partner in crime, an as of yet nameless photographer. The plot ideas from them ranges from "buddy cop movie style friends" to "friends with benefits". Mostly Romilda drags him around to do her bidding, so it's up in the air.
Secondly, Blaise Zabini (soblaise) needs his friends Draco, Pansy, Tracey and Theodore. Our resident Daphne would love to see a Draco+Astoria team as well, or just her pack of girls.
Then there's Gabrielle Delacour (angelique_), who has just moved to England to (you guessed it!) "eemprove 'er Eenglish". She needs a proper English tutor who isn't Ron (teaching her all those 'orrible swear words! :P), and she'd really like some younger people to make friends with. OH. And a Bill+Fleur (and Victoire) team would be fantastic, as well as any other Weasley (We have a Ginny and Ron is on hold!).
Our Slytherin crowd (Warrington, Adrian Pucey, Blaise etc) would like more Quidditch blokes and older Slytherins, and our Quidditch players would love some teammates!

Hello! My name is Jillian and I play Padma Patil (hg_padma) at hallowed_ground and Padma is climbing on my back about a number of folks she'd love to have in the game.
Firstly, Parvati Patil is most wanted! Padma can't be a twin without her twin, and Parvati knows best when it comes to ruffling the feathers of this studious little Ravenclaw. I have posted most of Padma's information as public here, but am absolutely willing to tinker and work out details for Parvatis with a wealthy background themselves!
More students! Morag McDougal would be well loved, as would Su Li and Stephen Cornfoot. Many members of the DA are also still open.

Also, I would absolutely loved to play Bellatrix Lestrange. If you have a Voldemort, that's a bonus! A Rodolphus or Rabastan is good too. But, Voldemort...is almost a must, heh.

Hi there! I am Emily, and I come on behalf of blurred_lines for two different requests.
Firstly, on behalf of the rather unfortunately named Akhil Patil, future father of Parvati and Padma. He's an Auror and would appreciate seeing some of his younger siblings! There are, uh, six Patils (not including spouses, parents and children, which brings it to a grand total of fourteen) and a couple of them fit into our playable categories.
The most desirably would be the middle brother, Kumar Patil, who is about 23 now. He's a hitwizard (we also need more hitwizards please!) and a former Hufflepuff. He and Akhil had the sibling-rivalry thing going on the most out of any of the boys, and is married, as a heads up. But no kids.
Then there's Kiran Patil, the youngest brother. He's a full decade younger than Patil, ringing in at a formidable 18 years old. He's either a trainee Auror or trainee Hitwizard, and a former Slytherin. Being the youngest of the group, he could go two ways. Spoiled to death or slightly ignored and annoying.
Secondly, I come for my Death Eater, Demetrius Mulciber. And would like to request his MOTHER, Anastasia. His mother is, for all intents and purposes, an airy-fairy, romantic lady, she's rather quirky really, there's more about her but I don't feel the urge to babble. She is a good wholesome nine years younger than her husband, and comes from a good Pureblood family in Greece. The Death Eater base in blurred_lines is pretty intense, so she'd definitely find somewhere to fit in among the pureblooded ladies. Her husband does love her in his special way, but is IRON FISTED and etc. etc. :) We would both love to have her!
We're all ridiculously friendly players, and we welcome new people wholeheartedly. Our game is large, but we have summaries of everything that goes on and I would not hesitate to help fill anyone in. I can be reached on AIM at xx emmanator, or you can just reply here if you're interested.
